Developmental workers

The programme offers individually designed programmes that engage young people in a very creative and developmental way.

Young people and their families are at the heart of the programme planning, their passions and aspirations are built into their individual programme which supports them to grow during their transition into adulthood.

When given choices young people can be very creative, we have professional staff to support young people with vocational courses such as Hair & Beauty, Barbering, Nail art, Stable Management, Cooking.  All are engaged in work placements, these vary from retail to public services.  For young people who have more complex needs we create our own work place opportunities within our own young entrepreneurs programme.  Young people are able to sell products they make in the community at our pop up shop.

 

It's not all work! our participants who are able to have some physical elements to their programme.  These can include a sport, going to the gym, swimming or could be walking in the various country parks we access and accessing the arts are very popular, we support many to access dance and drama programmes.
